Job Description:
Venator is recruiting for a Payroll & HR Shared Services Team Lead, to join the HR Shared Service Team at Wynyard.
Reporting to the Global HRSS & Global Mobility Manager, the role will lead the day-to-day activities of the UK based HR Shared Services Team to provide a high-quality service delivery on associated Payroll, Benefits and HR administration activities across UK, EMEA and other global locations as required.
Job responsibilities include:
Payroll & Benefits Administration Activities
1. To ensure the delivery of a high-quality payroll and benefits administration service.
2. To ensure all team activities are coordinated and managed in a timely manner ensuring service delivery within agreed timelines.
3. To ensure that all payrolls assigned to the UK HRSS team are efficiently controlled in accordance with business and legislation requirements including the payment of 3rd parties.
4. To maximise accuracy of all payroll transactions and ensure a high quality of payroll service.
5. To support the HR Shared Services Manager with outsourced vendor management.
6. To support the maintenance of HR or Payroll systems ensuring accuracy and compliance.
7. To ensure all GL accounting reporting is accurate and support wider business teams with discrepancy reviews when required.
8. To ensure all team activities are in accordance with business requirements, local legislation and SOX regulations.
9. To support the HR Shared Services Manager with the development and continuous improvement of efficient and effective Payroll and benefits administration business processes to meet the needs of the business.
HR Administration Activities
1. To ensure delivery of high-quality HR administration, onboarding and workday transactions.
2. To ensure all team activities are coordinated and managed in a timely manner and to provide relevant team guidance and support.
3. To maximise accuracy of all HR system transactions ensuring delivery of output as per agreed timelines.
4. To ensure all team activities are controlled in accordance with business requirements, local legislation and SOX regulations.
5. To support the HR Shared Services Manager with the development and continuous improvement of efficient and effective HR administrative business processes to meet the needs of the business.
6. Company car fleet administration.
Other activities
1. To review and recommend business process improvements as appropriate.
2. Support the management of 3rd party vendors to ensure the effectiveness of services delivered.
3. To support local and global projects as required.
4. To participate in and complete company-required training programs.
5. To participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as determined by the company.
6. To carry out all duties in line with Venator Corporate EHS, SOX and business conduct policies.
7. To provide team guidance and support.
8. To support team projects.
Candidate requirements:
1. Demonstrable experience of UK payrolls and compliance legislation, preferably within a HR Shared Services environment.
2. Experience in European payrolls is preferred, but not a requirement.
3. Demonstrable experience of team leadership.
4. Demonstrable experience managing accounting queries and completing GL review preferred.
5. Experience of Payroll/HR Systems (Resourcelink & Workday is advantageous).
6. Experience of managing outsourced payroll providers is beneficial.
7. Demonstrates honest and ethical values in line with Venator values.
8. Excellent IT skills including excel.
9. Change management experience inc. system and process change.
