We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Administrator to join the Business Support Team within social care. You will play a key role in providing accurate administrative support to ensure the Children, Adults, and Health department can effectively deliver services to those in need within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a main point of contact for the social care and education service, providing administrative support to managers and maintaining efficient work processes.
- Handle enquiries and information requests from colleagues, partners, and customers to maintain strong working relationships.
- Collate, maintain, and analyse records and data from computerised systems, ensuring accurate reports are produced.
- Assist in research and evidence collection for reports, including drafting sections for presentation.
- Support budget monitoring and basic financial procedures such as petty cash and invoicing.
- Accurately take and type minutes for meetings and format documents to a high standard.
Requirements:
- NVQ 2 or 3, or GCSEs at grade C (Grade 4) or above, or equivalent experience in office administration.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience using email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
- Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience maintaining computerised records and databases.
- Experience in basic financial procedures such as petty cash and invoicing.
