Red Rock Partnership Limited is delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Duns, Scottish Borders, who is looking for a Cascade Operator/Forklift Driver to join their busy team.
About the Business:
Our client is one of the UK's largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country's largest retailers and processors from two production facilities.
About The Role:
This role includes running the Cascade water plant and ensuring the site meets 3rd party and audit standards. The successful candidate will also be required to perform forklift duties on the Washlines.
Shift pattern: Monday - Thursday Nights (Mon/Tues/Wed working is 18:00-04:30hrs & Thursday is 16:00-02:30hrs)
Pay rate: £13.85 per hour
This is a PERMANENT position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring the constant operation of the Cascade system
2. Ensuring regular changeover of chemicals and monitoring usage
3. Operating the stone/potato separator as necessary
4. Operating and cleaning the soil press
5. Conducting regular checks e.g. HACCP, PH, temperature, water standard
6. Undertaking forklift duties within the Washlines
About you:
1. Valid Forklift license of ITSAAR, AITT or RTITB standard
2. Fault finding skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
