HEINEKEN UK is the nation’s leading pub, cider and beer company and the name behind a host of brilliant brands, from Inch’s to Birra Moretti and many more.
About the role:
Safety is key to us. We live and breathe putting safety first and expect you to be doing the same. Our Logistics Operators champion the SOPs of the processes, inventory management systems, and machines they operate (FLTs – counterbalance). Along with your current FLT license, we will be interested in your experience within a fast-moving production or warehousing environment, including Computerised Warehouse and Inventory management systems.
With an attention to detail, delivering FTR (First Time Right) on quality and process, you will be able to use your previous experience in warehousing as you will be responsible for incoming materials to our site and allocating work to Logistics team members within the site, to provide high standards of customer service to our production areas and public customers.
Who we’re looking for:
Our Logistics Operators also need to be skilled planners, so we are also looking for people who are confident users of Microsoft Office applications (previous experience with an ERP such as SAP would be valuable also), who are great communicators as you will need to be able to talk to the Logistics Planners on material stocks and the scheduling of loads and be able to provide high levels of customer service. You will need to have at least 2 years proven experience on a counterbalance (preferably FLT).
Our benefits:
As part of the team, along with your salary you’ll also receive:
* an annual bonus,
* double matched pension (up to 10%),
* 22.85 days holiday,
* A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers!
* Comprehensive opportunities to develop.
You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.
