We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join our care package in Chichester supporting a complex ABI client with a brilliant sense of humour, who enjoys classical music, going out for dinner, swimming and socialising. You will be leading a team of support workers ensuring the smooth running of the package and collaborating with any of individuals involved in the care and welfare of the client including the Care Manager and Clinical Psychologist, providing the best possible care for our client including person-centred care planning, care assessments and risk assessments, ensuring his needs are fully understood and is as active and independent as possible.

What you'll be working:
* This is a zero-hour contract with regular shifts as below – contracted hours can be discussed after probationary period
* 10 hours per week
* 2 hours per day (times to be agreed)
* Monday to Friday
What you'll be doing:
* Responsible for supporting the Care Manager and Head Office to manage the package of care for their client
* Assist the client to exercise choice and control over their own lives as far as they are able in everyday matters but taking into consideration cognitive problems
* Support with the effective management of team rota’s and where possible prevent service failure for their client, ensuring care provision is reliable and of a high standard
* Willing to participate in out of hours service/ on-call and service failure plans as requested
* Lead and organise Team meetings with Care Manager and ensure meeting minutes are circulated to all staff
* Mentoring the care team and act as a role model for safe and effective practise
* Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
* Maintain professional boundaries with the client and their family members, adhering to direction from the care manager as appropriate
What you'll have:
* Full Clean Driving licence
* Previous experience at supervisory level within a care setting
* NVQ /QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care would be an advantage but not essential
* A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
* Willingness to learn and develop
* The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
