Working within the Together4Children, Regional Adoption Agency, which is a partnership of 4 Local Authorities, Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Council, you will be working alongside other regional administration officers to coordinate and support administrative tasks of the Together4Children Central Permanency Hub with a primary focus on Regional Adoption Panel, the Quality Assurance of Child’s Permanence Reports and the Agency Decision Maker (ADM).
This is a permanent role for 22 hours. It can be worked flexibly, as long as this suits service need. You will be hybrid working, with some working at home and office-based work.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide an effective service for coordinating the Regional Adoption Panel.
2. Prepare agendas for and minute meetings of adoption panel.
3. Use, maintain and monitor extensive and varied I.C.T/digital facilities.
4. Maintain service user records.
5. Be responsible for regularly updating and monitoring the region's database and management information systems.
6. Process financial transactions.
7. Assist in the development of appropriate information systems and administrative procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Have GCSE English and an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
2. Experience in an administrative role is preferred.
3. Work well as part of a team and in a busy environment.
4. Have excellent communication skills, time management skills, and organisational skills.
5. Be flexible to meet service needs.
