Join an experienced team and receive training to become multi-skilled in filling gas cylinders, asset inspections, and ensuring product quality up to delivery. The work will be indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions with daily manual handling (full training will be given). This is a permanent position, contracted to 48 hours a week Monday - Friday. Conform to and enforce the Company Safety, Health and Environment Policy at all times. Supervise the distribution of cylinders in accordance with the Company’s Codes of Practice and its BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the distribution of cylinders Report into the Production Supervisor, for work loads and needs of the business Daily FTA sheets, required to be filled out and report any defects to your supervisor. To work in line with all SOP’s and procedures to the training matrix. Inert & Flam gas filling Cylinder manual handling Vehicle loading and unloading Cylinder preparation Are you a MATCH? FLT experience (beneficial, training provided) Manual handling of heavy cylinders (training provided) Pressurized filling systems (touch screen and manual, training provided) Loading and unloading of 26 to 44-ton trailers H&S understanding and adherence (Safety First site) Working with Standard Operating systems and processes Working in a fast-paced environment Any knowledge/know-how that is desirable but not essential and are looking to progress in a busy gas filling site. General literacy and ability to handle paperwork and figures. Experience in a fast-moving facility with multiple distribution vehicles. Experience using an FLT to lift up to 2 tons per lift multiple times. Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly with managers.
