We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Team Leader to join their supportive team in a children’s residential home, working with children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable young people, helping them to develop resilience, achieve stability, and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the residential care team. Ensure the delivery of high-quality care in line with individual care plans and organisational standards. Create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for the young people to thrive. Support the Registered Manager in meeting all regulatory and legislative requirements. Lead by example, acting as a positive role model for both the team and the young people. Effectively manage shift patterns, ensuring consistency in care delivery. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children and young people with EBD in a residential setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards it. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
