This position based in Enniskillen involves collaborating closely with both the Arup Project Team and the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council Teams to facilitate the implementation of the SLNCR Greenway (https://slncr-greenway.com/) in County Fermanagh. The role will involve working in tandem with PLOs for SLNCR based in Sligo and Leitrim County Councils.
Please note this is a fixed term contract of two years and you will work from Fermanagh & Omagh District Council offices.
Responsibilities:
* Provide information to stakeholders on the SLNCR Greenway scheme proposal and the procedures involved in the development of the scheme;
* Discuss an optimum route through the holding of an individual landowner to minimise impacts on their property, whether it is a farm, residential or other type of property;
* Provide information to stakeholders affected by the Project in relation to, inter alia, proposed land take, proposed accommodation works and the statutory processes;
* Assess the accuracy of land ownership records held by land and property services and confirm these records with individual stakeholders;
* Act as the primary point of contact in dealings between Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Arup, the contractor(s) and affected stakeholders in areas such as access, disruption to services and disturbance/nuisance during construction;
* Assist the property valuation advisor and the Local Authority legal team in cases where the matter of compensation for compulsory acquisition of land has been referred to arbitration.
Is this role right for you?
We are looking for the following skills and attributes:
* A degree, or equivalent qualification, in a Construction related Architectural/Engineering discipline.
* Experience of project liaison with stakeholders, in particular landowners, public, businesses, statutory authorities within the infrastructure sector.
* Management / Coordination / Delivery of construction projects to deliver high-quality outcomes to meet targets and deadlines.
* Working knowledge and application of funded projects.
* Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations.
* A current valid driving licence and access to a form of transport which will enable them to carry out the duties of the post in full.
Competence in the use of AutoCAD is desirable.
