Here at TeenageHelpline we have grown a strong tightknitcommunityof individuals who are passionate about making a difference andimproving the lives of young people across the UK. Our growing teamof volunteers all contribute significantly to the impact that wehave as a charity on our direct beneficiaries regardless of thedepartment that they work in of the level of time that they areable to commit.Our servicesprimarilyoffer a peersupport network to young people right across the UKallowing them to access a peer mentor who is of a similar age tothem and somebody that they feel more comfortable speakingwith.
If successful you will be joining a growingteam of diverse but likeminded individuals collaborating toincrease the reach of the Charity and improve support provisionsavailable to young people.All of our volunteers and employees areremote workersbut that doesnt stop uskeeping in touch and maintaining a strong positive culture amongstour whole team.
About therole
AsMarketing Director you will report directly to the CEO and will siton the Executive Team of the Charity acting as a strategic leaderto develop and execute our Marketing Strategy. You will lead a teamof ambitious volunteers to promote awareness of our Charity and itsactivities through communications such as newsletters and strategicpartnership development.You will be at the heart of the SeniorLeadership Team and will have real influence on the direction ofour Charity and itssuccess.
Keyresponsibilities
* Developmaintain and execute our Marketing Strategy taking into account ourvarious channels in which we can use to generate awareness of ouractivities.
* Review our outreach and channelsleading on delivery of a suite of content and collateral that willenable us to promote our services across audiences. This includesbut is not limited to schools newsletters contributing to socialcontent and development posters and other in person collateralpresentations our team can use in face to face engagement anddelivery of our presence at events such as pride. It will alsoinvolve maintaining a forward plan of activity and content at leastsix months in advance including events where we canparticipate.
* Recruit design and lead a team ofMarketing volunteers across various areas ensuring that they havethe right coaching and guidance to succeed. This involved ensuringthat the structure of the Marketing team is remains appropriate asthe Charity grows.
* Hold combines responsibilityfor all campaigns in conjunction with the head of communicationsensuring that they promote the Charity in the right way andensuring a consistent approach.
* Own our brandmanagement ensuring consistent application of our Brand Standardsacross the Charity both internally and externally.
* Partner with our Communications Director toensure that a consistent approach is taken across the Marketing& Communications space.This role also requires strongworking relationships with our Fundraising and PartnershipsDirectors aswell.
Skills
* ExperienceRequirement: At least 5 years experience in a Marketing role withprior experience in strategy development andexecution.
* Exceptional leadershipbusiness and interpersonalproficiency.
* Marketing and channelmanagement
* Prior thriving managerialexperience.
* Be able to set business targetstimelines plans and financial targets.
* Be ableto stimulate and motivate employees teams anddepartments.
