Supporting the Clinical Team Manager and SPA Practitioners to manage all requests for service, to ensure children, young people and families receive timely access to the right help they need according to their mental health and wellbeing needs. To be supported to undertake phone or virtual consultations to children, young people, families and other referrers. Progressing to being fully autonomous in this. Work collaboratively with parents/families/carers to promote the emotional and physical wellbeing of the child/young person. Assessing risk in collaboration with children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties, significant others, and other workers/professionals, alongside use of own professional judgment and team processes. Identifying and engaging with practitioners with specialist knowledge to support decision making. Ability to complete work within a given timeframe which meets the model of the SPA. Confidently signpost to other appropriate resources within the community. Skilled and constructive use of own supervision sessions, engagement in reflective practice, commitment to continuously develop self-awareness and work appropriately within professional boundaries. Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions when deemed appropriate and within the scope of the SPA. Maintain contemporaneous records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols. Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service. To work closely and build positive working relationships with a range of agencies across health, education and social care (including the voluntary and community sector) as well as across teams within Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust as appropriate. To liaise regularly with clinical teams to collaborate and develop/provide integrated services. To participate in meetings relevant to service provision.
