Based in East Kilbride, we specialise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of door types, ensuring safety and efficiency for our customers across Scotland & northern England.

The Role
As a mobile engineer, you will play a vital role in our operations, responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of various door types at customer sites. Your duties will include:
* Responding to emergency callouts and conducting repairs on industrial roller doors, high-speed doors, sectional overhead doors, roller shutters, and hinged steel doors.
* Conducting fault finding and diagnosis, while advising customers on potential issues and solutions.
* Completing electronic job sheets and maintaining clear communication with clients and team members.
* This position requires a commitment to a standard 40-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime as and when required.
Requirements
* Excellent customer service skills and a self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Organised yet flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing workloads.
* Physically capable of manual work, including lifting and using mechanical aids.
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial engineering and door installation & maintenance is required.
* Driving License
* IPAF Certificate
* PASMA Certificate
* NVQ Level 2 in Door & Gate Systems Installation & Maintenance
* Level 2 Award in Industrial & Garage Door Safety
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
* MIG, ARC & TIG Welding Experience (preferred but not essential)
* Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)
