PositionSummary:
The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to contribute to the schools continuedsuccess by inspiring and nurturing young scientific minds. Thisrole involves delivering engaging and informative lessons acrossKey Stages 3 and 4 fostering a love for science and equippingstudents with essential scientific knowledge andskills.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Designand deliver highquality Science lessons that align with thenational curriculum and the schools high academicstandards.
* Create a dynamic and inclusiveclassroom environment that promotes student engagement curiosityand a passion for scientific inquiry.
* Assessstudent progress provide constructive feedback and implementpersonalized learning strategies to maximize individualpotential.
* Collaborate effectively withcolleagues within the Science department and the wider schoolcommunity to enhance the curriculum and contribute toextracurricular activities.
* Stay abreast ofcurrent pedagogical approaches and developments in Scienceeducation.
Qualifications&Experience:
* Bachelorsdegree or higher in a Sciencerelated field (Biology ChemistryPhysics or General Science).
* Qualified TeacherStatus (QTS) or equivalent teachingcertification.
* Proven experience teachingScience at the secondary level ideally across Key Stages 3 and4.
