About the role
Reporting to theOperating System Deployment Manager, you will:
:Be responsible for supporting deployment of the operating system within delivery units, and train, lead, and providetechnical expertise.
:Deploy a range of tools, principles, and behaviours to enable identification and delivery of improvement opportunities aligned to key business goals.
:Engage with regional operational teams and functional experts to embed the operating system as the standard way of working.
:Lead projects and support alarger programme, tackling issues or re:occurring challenges usingproblem solving, in:depth analysis, and implementation ofsustainable countermeasures.
:Develop,and coach others to develop,Value Stream Mapsto identify improvement opportunitiesto be delivered by fieldleads.
:Work closely with the functional SME's and support national trials of improvement activities.
:Work on multiple simultaneous projects on pipeline improvement andmeasure and analyse flow to improve value.
:Support the identification of in:process waste through understanding ofthe value stream.
About You
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:
:Currently a highly credible manager that can provide realistic solutions, includinggood people andteam leadership skills gained in a management capacity.
:Ability to influence at all levels of leadership and coordinate multiple priorities across a range of accountabilities.
:Track record of solid data analysis and rigorous measurement of sustained results.
:Sound knowledge and understanding of the operational pipeline environment and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.
:Experience of complex organisation structures and frameworks, anddeploying change in a unionised environment.
:Proficient at undertaking process mapping and analysis, waste identification, and removal, and understanding of the principles of Lean thinking and tools, including origins and cultural aspects critical to successful application within an organisation.
:The ability to coach CI tools, systems, and behaviours to field operational managers.
:Relevant skills and experience of Lean, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement to Improvement Practitioner level 4 (or equivalent) at a minimum.
