Hygiene Manager Food Manufacturing Dorset About the Role: 360 Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Hygiene Manager to join a brilliant Night Hygiene Team. As Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the factory, ensuring hygiene systems meet industry standards, and leading a dynamic team of hygiene professionals. You’ll oversee the day-to-day hygiene activities, pest management, and the implementation of technical strategies in alignment with both customer requirements and business needs. You’ll drive continuous improvement, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety are adhered to across the site. Key Responsibilities: Manage hygiene activities and systems across the site, ensuring adherence to company standards and legislation. Lead the hygiene team through training, development, and daily management. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovative hygiene practices and continuous improvement. Oversee pest management and hygiene management systems to meet customer and business requirements. Lead audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards and quality management systems. Manage the site hygiene budget and ensure cost-effective operations. Deliver best practices in hygiene procedures and monitor performance through data analysis. Operate as part of the site’s technical leadership team.Qualifications and Experience: Level 2 & 3 Food Safety and Hygiene Certification HACCP Level 2/3 IOSH Health & Safety principles (desirable) Strong understanding of food microbiology, health and safety, and chemical management. Experience managing complex hygiene systems, technical audits, and food safety compliance. Proven people management experience with a focus on team development and motivation.Key Skills and Knowledge: Strong literacy and numeracy skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Hygiene Systems, and ERP management software. Exceptional attention to detail and quality. Ability to communicate procedures clearly and effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
