Our Campus Development Department plays a critical role in delivering innovative new facilities that support advancements in fusion technology. Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Administrator to join our Campus Development team. This role is vital in ensuring that our department operates smoothly and efficiently, enabling us to focus on our mission of advancing nuclear fusion technologies. The ideal candidate will provide professional administrative support, fostering a collaborative environment that drives our projects forward. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, resolving inquiries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Maintain the office environment, managing supplies and distributing important information. Organise UK and international travel, accommodation, and conference registration. Plan and coordinate business events to align with departmental needs. Manage diaries, arrange meetings, and prepare agendas and minutes. Assist managers with document processing, filing, and follow-up actions. Maintain and update records and databases, including Common Data Environment (CDE) and SharePoint. Facilitate onboarding for new starters, ensuring all necessary IT equipment and access are provided. Handle purchasing and order processing accurately in relevant systems. Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure effective information sharing and communication. Promote UKAEA's values, championing equality, diversity, and inclusion within the workplace. Undertake additional reasonable tasks as requested by management. Qualifications & Experience: Demonstrated experience in administrative roles, including diary and document management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with databases and business applications. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritise workload. Knowledge of Common Data Environment systems is advantageous. Professional, discreet, and personable approach.
