Role Overview
The Admissions Officer will play a key role in managing and supporting all aspects of the student admissions process. This includes handling applications, conducting eligibility checks, liaising with applicants, and ensuring a smooth transition for students from application to enrolment. The ideal candidate will be organised, customer-focused, and capable of providing an exceptional level of service to both prospective students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and evaluate student applications in accordance with admissions policies and criteria.
* Conduct eligibility checks, including qualification and identity verification, and maintain accurate records.
* Communicate effectively with applicants, guiding them through each stage of the admissions process.
* Coordinate admissions interviews and assessments, including scheduling and liaising with academic staff.
* Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from prospective students and parents via phone, email, and in person.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless enrolment process for new students.
* Update and maintain the admissions database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
* Assist in developing and implementing admissions events and open days.
* Support the wider admissions and marketing team with administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
* Prior experience in admissions, customer service, or administration within an educational or similar environment is desirable.
* Knowledge of the UK education system is advantageous.
