The Underwriting department supports the Bank by assessing the risk of lending and protecting the Bank against this risk and losses. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers including brokers and solicitors as well as assessing key documentation. Your responsibilities will include… Management of inbound and outbound calls with brokers and solicitors as well as driving pipeline chasing from full application to completion. Assessing mortgage application & post offer documents and Process Certificate of Titles in line with the Bank’s policy and standards. Working in collaboration with the underwriters to perform pre-offer and post offer pipeline chases to Service Level Agreement. Identifying any potentially fraudulent activity and escalate any concerns to Management. Completing general administration duties and ad hoc tasks or projects as and when required.
