As Audit Semi-Senior your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the partners and associate partners in the management and delivery of statutory audit (80%) and accounts preparation services (20%) for corporate and OMB clients
* Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing an analytical review
* Leading smaller audits, supervising, delegating and reviewing work of trainees
* Involvement in preparing consolidated accounts in due course for some clients
* Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge
* Monitoring your chargeability and your assignment budgets pro-actively
* Developing specialist sector knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments
We welcome applications from candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Be part qualified, or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 12 months experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
* Have experience of planning and completing audits, and accounts preparation
* Experience of delegating and reviewing work of trainees
* Good general IT skills and accounting software knowledge
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
