Senior Health and Safety Manager

We're currently recruiting a Senior Health and Safety Manager to lead across one of the largest high-rise residential construction projects in Birmingham. Specifically, this organisation is looking for a creative, innovative individual with new ideas, which can ensure their cutting-edge health and safety program continues to deliver to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
1. Visiting site, assisting, and advising project managers to ensure they can achieve the efficient and effective delivery of the Health and Safety strategy
2. Interfacing with both the client and key internal stakeholders
3. Leading on accidents and investigations as well as incident reporting and identifying the root cause
4. Addressing the existing systems of work to identify any flaws or training requirements necessary to improve culture
Qualifications
1. Proven experience with a Principal Contractor organisation
2. Ideally a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant membership of IOSH
3. Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging clients and contractors
4. A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance, and regulations
This position will require a self-starter who can lead by example and hit the ground running.
