CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services - CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the Hertfordshire Division is recruiting!
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Hertfordshire division of Central London Community trust. The division is seeking a Deputy Director of Operations on secondment for 12 months (up until 30th June 2026) to support the delivery of community services in Hertfordshire.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with the senior team in the Hertfordshire division, including the Director of Operations, Divisional Medical Director, Divisional Director of Nursing and Therapies and the Heads of Clinical Services.
* The role will lead on the reporting and delivery of performance across the division, including all performance metrics and QIPP.
* Ensure adherence with regulations, performance and contractual indicators.
* Oversee the delivery of transformation within the division and support CLCH's role in system transformation.
* Line management of the business team and transformation teams within the division.
* Work closely with partners to support the delivery of new collaborative ways of working both at HCP and ICS level in line with local and national priorities.
* Deputise for the Director of Operations as required.

Qualifications
* Educated to Masters level or equivalent combination of degree and post graduate clinical or professional qualifications, management training and experience.
* Can evidence recent and on-going personal development activity.
Experience & Achievements
* Has current broad knowledge of current NHS policy and context.
* Has specific in-depth knowledge of the challenges facing health and social care.
* Substantial experience at senior management level in a public sector organisation, with a proven track record demonstrating successful strategic planning and implementation.
* Experience of having provided health and/or other public sector services.
* Can demonstrate experience of leading, introducing and managing major change programmes.
* Evidence of significant and measurable outcomes and achievements at both strategic and operational level that impacted positively on organisational objectives.
* Evidence of successful audit, risk assessment and management in a complex environment.
* Proven experience of managing and motivating diverse teams.
* A full and demonstrable understanding of the drivers for public sector reform, and specifically of the NHS policy agenda.
* Demonstrable understanding of primary care, acute services and the health and social care agenda.
* Has demonstrable experience of effective partnership working with other organisations at a senior level, preferably a mix of public, private and voluntary sector.
* Experience of establishing effective financial management and control procedures.
* Experience of integrated care systems or programmes.
