Enable Infrastructure is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join our team on a venture in Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business transitioning into new markets, including power, battery storage, drainage, and water sector schemes, alongside our current rail offerings.
We offer an excellent opportunity for someone with a power/energy connections background to join and grow with our expanding business in the region. The projects will primarily cover the Highlands of Scotland, with a base in Glasgow, focusing on substation upgrades and power network enhancements.
We need an experienced, local Project Manager who is client-facing, passionate about delivery, and capable of building new opportunities through engaging with existing and new clients in the region.
The role starts as a contract with the potential to become permanent as workload increases.
As part of an SME, you will gain comprehensive exposure to how a construction business operates, interfacing with pre-construction, procurement, delivery, resourcing, hire, and other departments. Training is tailored to your development plan.

The role involves leading and managing all aspects of project delivery within a portfolio, ensuring projects meet financial targets and that communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are effectively utilized.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop regional plans to achieve sustainable revenue growth and meet gross margin targets.
2. Oversee project delivery teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, project controls, budgets, and quality standards.
3. Manage full Profit and Loss for projects, supporting business planning with accurate forecasts.
4. Assist the Work Winning Team with tenders.
5. Ensure robust budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Control project costs proactively and explore operational efficiencies.
7. Review monthly budgets with Project Managers and reconcile resources and materials.
Experience
* 8-10 years of project management experience.
* Experience in power/energy connections.
* Experience with substation upgrades/enhancements.
* Ability to develop further opportunities with clients in the region.
Qualifications
* University Degree or equivalent.
* Civil Engineer qualification (preferred but not essential).
* CSCS certification.
Technical Skills
* Understanding of Temporary Works.
* Environmental awareness in management.
* NEC and NR Suite Contract awareness.
* Knowledge of H&S regulations, policies, standards, and legislation.
* Basic understanding of Primavera P6.
* Advanced MS Office skills.
