Key Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Processing:
o Review, validate and process invoices for payment.
o Ensure all invoices are accurately coded and comply with company policies.
2. Vendor Management:
o Maintain and update vendor information in the accounting system.
o Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
3. Payment Processing:
o Prepare and execute weekly/ monthly payment runs.
o Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely payments and avoid late fees.
4. Reconciliation:
o Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
o Assist in month-end closing process, including preparing necessary reports.
5. Audit Support:
o Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
o Maintain accurate and organised records for all accounts payable.
6. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
o Participate in cross-functional projects to improve overall finance operations.
