Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to work with a highly regarded Law Firm in the City of St Albans?
Have you got full compliance and understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)?
A Solicitor in St Albans is seeking someone to join their accounts team to support the financial operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Your role will focus on client accounts but will also support with office accounts.
Main duties include:
* Bank Reconciliations
* Process all payments
* CHAPS and BACS payments
* Inter-account transfers
* Allocation of client receipts
* Managing cheques
* Land Registry postings
* Generating fee earner reports
* Respond to emails and manage queries to conclusion
* Full compliance with SAR and internal policies
The client is looking for someone who has a strong understanding (and recent experience) of legal accounting procedures. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and the ability to communicate with senior staff members.
You must have previous experience of working within a professional service firm and strong experience as a Bookkeeper or Legal Cashier.
This is a full-time office role, so you must also be able to commit to the hours of 9-5:30 on a daily basis.
