With £135 million in new investments, the Trust has opened a brand new Haematology-Oncology Inpatient Unit in Summer 2023. Main duties of the job To work alongside two consultants in Breast cancers to develop and strengthen treatment opportunities for Cornish patients. To take part, promote and develop our extensive and innovative clinical trials portfolio. To take responsibility for the designated clinical workload including MDT meetings, out-patient clinics, radiotherapy treatment planning and in-patient care. To develop and promote protocols relating to treatment options for patients To participate in the on-call rota and develop leadership skills within the department. To help provide teaching for junior staff and medical students in the department To comply with all the clinical governance processes and procedures of the Trust To maintain Continuing Professional Development accreditation as per Royal College of Radiologists or Royal College of Physicians guidelines To participate in the Trust appraisal programme and GMC revalidation processes.
