Reporting to the IT Operations Manager and working within a small team, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality, complex IT services. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure IT security is understood and managed effectively across the systems we support. You will ensure that all matters of security are covered in accordance with relevant systems’ security operating procedures and policies. You will manage the security working groups for all systems under the scope of this post and will be heavily involved in the system accreditation process (Secure by Design). This post will ensure day-to-day security tasks for the systems are conducted, including but not limited to: User account requests, requests for import and export of information, reviews and audits of system security logs and audit of 3 rd party supplier’s adherence against system related policies, processes, and procedures. As an Associate Information Assurance Analyst, you will gain experience in multiple disciplines within Information Assurance, including Secure by Design and the NIST Cyber Security Professional (NCSP) Foundation Certificate. Deliver assurance of relevant controls on the implementation of any system, activity, platform to ensure alignment with Information Assurance Policy and Standards. Provide advice, guidance and manage the resolution of escalated complex queries to/for projects and pan organisational teams and develop training from trends. Lead reviews, audits, and security surveys both internally and externally with Industry Partners and present findings. Support the identification and mitigation of IT system & Information Risks.
