Personal Wellbeing Mentor
Salary: £23,625 per annum (Pro-Rata) - Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews.
Part-Time Role: Up to 18.75 hours per week (Mondays are required / Remaining hours are flexible).
Covering Ashington: Due to regular travel, the role does require access to transport (i.e., daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion).
What you will be doing:
* Delivering group / 1-2-1 interventions.
* Supporting Service Users to complete applications for community resources (e.g., leisure, sports, community activities, etc.).
* Operating in a variety of venues including probation offices, prison visitor centres, Ingeus Offices, community venues & Service Users' homes.
To be successful you will require:
* Experience of working successfully with challenging people, for example, people who have complex needs, people who are reluctant to discuss their needs, and people who are angry and confused.
* A knowledge and understanding of providing support, advice, and advocacy to vulnerable individuals.
