The Air Ambulance Service provides two very important functions, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) which provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Job Title: Community Fundraising Manager Location: Rugby - Hybrid (40% office based) Full Time: 37.5 hours Annual Salary: £43,666.18 Job Purpose An exciting opportunity has arisen to join and lead our Community Fundraising team. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering against fundraising targets. You’ll lead the creation and delivery of the community fundraising strategy to generate and increase income through a variety of community income streams and volunteer networks, use data and insight to inform decision making, resource planning and performance monitoring and create a forward thinking, engaged team driven for success. As part of the Senior Leadership team in Fundraising you’ll collaborate with other teams such as Legacies, Individual Giving and Events and play an integral role in creating a high performing fundraising team. Key Responsibilities Leadership and management of the Community Fundraising team across a national landscape. Creation and delivery of the Community Fundraising Strategy. Delivery of all programmes of work through community fundraising including the development of the regional corporate strategy and Business Development Manager team. Income growth through delivery of strategy across income streams including recruitment, stewardship and retention. Create and nurture an engaged volunteer network to support the team across the country. Delivery of agreed income targets and associated reporting requirements. Using data and insight to support decision making, resource planning and monitoring. Create a forward thinking team engaged with the strategic goals of the organisation and driven for success. Develop a culture of collaboration with other fundraising teams and importantly with the wider organisation to maximise opportunity. Person Specification Experience of leading a community fundraising team including corporate income. Experience of creating a community fundraising strategy and delivering against this. Proven experience of delivering against income targets and non-financial KPIs. Experience of reporting against financial and non-financial targets and KPIs including forecasting. Experience of pipelining and proactive approaches to corporates and community organisations and supporters. Experience of recruiting new volunteers and volunteer groups. Experience of supporter and volunteer stewardship and journeys. Organised with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks with an attention to detail to ensue nothing is missed.
