An exciting opportunity has risen within the oncology and Haematology. We are looking to appoint a dynamic forward thinking Junior operational Service manager to provide a comprehensive and efficient Leadership service to service to the Systemic Anti- Cancer Therapy department. You will assist the Ward Manager in the efficient and effective operational management of resources within the Directorate/Service Line(s) in order to deliver continually improving high quality patient care within the resources available. To assist in providing regular update reports on the progress of work. To work with other Directorates/Divisions to ensure the achievement of the Trust’s and Divisional corporate objectives. To work flexibly in order to deliver the Directorate agenda and to offer support to other colleagues including cover in times of absence. To provide general administrative support to the department, ensuring in particular that supporting services are delivered effectively in the interests of patient care. The post holder can be deployed across other areas to support service lines as required and agreed with the Ward Manager or SACT lead. This post offers an excellent opportunity either for development in gaining exposure to a wide range of Junior operational issues within the directorate, or for an existing Junior Operational Services Manager wanting a challenge in a new directorate. We are looking for someone who has excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to forge and maintain relationships. The ability to manage a busy workload and to prioritise, quickly find solutions and to focus on critical issues when decision making is essential. The post holder is responsible for the administrative within the area/Department including data and reporting inline with National targets. You will assist the Ward Manager, SACT lead and Operational manager with daily operational needs.
