An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Endoscopy Senior Support Worker to join the new CDC team. If you have band 2 NHS experience, good communication and organisational skills, are punctual and reliable, and meet the criteria, we welcome your application.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist with patient needs pre/peri/post endoscopy. To work under the supervision of a registered nurse at all times, working within the parameters of their competence, communicating and documenting appropriately, ensuring relevant information is communicated to other members of the multi-disciplinary team in a professional and timely manner. The ability to work to a high standard at all times, influencing and role modelling patient-centred care. The role will involve staff understanding the aspects of care they are involved in, following appropriate training, keeping patients safe and protected.
Person specification
* 2 years working clinically in a hospital setting
* Evidence of higher level education
* Maths and English A to C or 4 to 9 or functional skills
* Knowledge/Experience of Endoscopy
Written and Verbal Skills
* Experience with direct patient care
* Good interpersonal skills
