Electromechanical Maintenance Technician Apprentice
The apprentice will undertake installation, testing, servicing, removal, replacement, maintenance and repair of a range of equipment, sometimes complex, as part of planned preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.
Training course: Maintenance and operations engineering technician (level 3)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
Duration: 3 years 6 months
Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Assist with and perform installation and maintenance tasks in order to ensure the effective operation of various electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
* Repair or maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment alongside completing pre-scheduled preventative maintenance.

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
