We are currently looking for a Manager in the Corporate Tax department. This is a key position based out of the Leatherhead office and forms part of the wider Tax service we offer our clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
To manage a portfolio of business tax clients, ensuring compliance, meeting deadlines, building relationships, and identifying areas for support and growth.
This role involves delivering compliance and tax advisory services to owner-managed companies and large, international groups across various industries.
Daily Tasks
* Managing client portfolios for compliance and relationship building.
* Training and managing the business tax team.
* Advising clients on business and tax requirements, including succession and remuneration planning.
* Having a working knowledge of other relevant tax areas like Business Asset Disposal Relief and Business Property Relief.
* Supporting entrepreneurial businesses throughout their lifecycle, including IP protection, restructuring, and international growth.
* Advising on equity incentivization schemes such as EMI options.
* Knowledge of VAT and R&D tax areas is beneficial.
* Networking, proposal writing, and portfolio growth.
* Identifying tax planning and cross-selling opportunities.
* Mentoring junior colleagues.
* Adhering to technical, ethical, risk, and compliance standards.
The Person
The candidate should be autonomous, with strong relationship management skills, and able to contribute to team efforts. Embracing technological advances and participating in internal initiatives are also important.
Requirements include experience with corporate clients at a managerial level, relevant qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIOT), and knowledge of UK accounting standards. Travel within the UK may be necessary.
