Are you a proactive and experienced professional with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join a great team as an Estates & Facilities Manager at a stunning hotel and resort.
In this exciting role, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring the resort remains a top destination, overseeing everything from health and safety compliance to managing the infrastructure of the entire site. Your expertise will help maintain the high standards and enhance the guest experience!
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Health & Safety Excellence: Ensure all facilities meet health and safety regulations, creating a safe, welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
2. Facilities Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities, from buildings to grounds, utilities to equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
3. Maintenance & Grounds: Lead the Grounds & Maintenance teams, ensuring the property is always well-maintained, beautiful, and in top condition for guests to enjoy.
4. Strategic Infrastructure: Develop and manage infrastructure schedules that optimise efficiency and minimise disruptions to guest services, keeping everything in tip-top shape.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control: Take charge of budgeting for facility maintenance and improvements, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Keep the resort in full compliance with local, national regulations, and building codes, ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are up to date.
7. CAPEX & Special Projects: Identify, plan, and lead exciting capital expenditure projects, constantly enhancing the property and elevating the guest experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Full driving licence (required)
* Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role
* Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices
* Exceptional organisational and project management skills
* Inspiring leadership and team management abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff, guests, and vendors
* Passion for sustainability practices and energy-efficient technologies (a plus!)
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively
