As a General Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining our facilities, ensuring they remain a welcoming and secure environment for our residents and staff.
What You’ll Do:
Perform General Maintenance: Carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across our buildings, facilities, equipment, and outdoor areas.
* Handle Minor Repairs: Address basic plumbing issues, such as fixing showers, sinks, and toilets, as well as minor repairs in glazing, painting, and decorating.
* Troubleshoot Effectively: Resolve minor issues with locks, door closers, and furniture like beds, wardrobes, and cupboards.
* Support Facility Upkeep: Assist with moving and assembling furniture, maintaining outdoor spaces, and identifying projects that may require specialist contractors.
* Ensure Safety Compliance: Update Health and Safety checklists, monitor boiler systems, and report any faults or malfunctions promptly to maintain a safe environment.
