Our client, a supportive and inclusive secondary special school in Aylesbury, is seeking multiple Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs, helping them to develop confidence, independence, and key life skills.
The Role:
* Support teachers in delivering tailored lessons to meet the needs of students with SEND.
* Assist with classroom management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
* Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies.
* Encourage students’ social and emotional development through structured activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has experience working with young people with SEND (desirable but not essential).
* Is patient, compassionate, and committed to supporting students' learning and well-being.
* Can build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) or is willing to train.
