Assistant Delivery Driver Denton, Full time - Permanent - 45 Hours a week - Monday to Friday No weekend or Bank Holiday working required. Working Monday to Friday, based in Denton, working as part of a 2-man team delivering KBB furniture to our clients nationwide. You will be a friendly, hardworking and a team player. The role of a TKC Assistant Delivery Driver is to ensure the accurate, timely and professional delivery of TKC goods to businesses and end-users. Duties and Responsibilities: • Carrying out multi drop deliveries to business and end-users • To ensure the successful and safe delivery of TKC goods to its customers at the customers room of choice • Working as a part of a 2-person team delivering goods to our customers' premises. • Ensure paperwork is fully completed daily in accordance with company policies. • On occasion, working on your own to delivery goods in our TKC Vans. • To ensure to follow safety procedures when manual handling on our products for delivery. • Working to the most efficient daily planned route. • To assist the Delivery Driver to ensure vehicles being used are kept clean and tidy. • To act in a professional manner at all times both on the road and when dealing with delivery customers Candidate Specification: • First class communication and customer service skills • Excellent attention to detail and work ethic • Be able to work under pressure • Be able to work away for up to 2 nights a week • Ability to lift heavy items comfortably and safely • Committed to ensuring consistent customer satisfaction • Good customer liaison skills Work Experience: Essential • Full UK Driver's License, with no more than 3 points on your Driving License Desirable • Multi-drop experience • Good geographical knowledge of the UK Benefits of working for TKC: We recognise that conflicting priorities between work and personal life can affect employee productivity and stress levels and impact upon work performance.
