Long-Term Teachers are working with a fantastic specialist education provision that supports children aged 2-19. All students have profound multiple learning difficulties and complex needs, including medical and mental health needs. Part of a reputable multi-academy trust, supporting several Specialist provisions in and around Wiltshire.
Starting in September 2024, this full-time role is Monday to Friday, during term time only. Working hours are 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). There is also an opportunity for training after school every Wednesday until 4 pm to develop your skills.
Key duties include:
1. Providing general classroom support, including 1:1 and small group interventions
2. Providing care as needed, which may include personal care and support for mental health and well-being
3. Assisting with lesson preparation and supervising activities to ensure a safe and supportive environment
4. Safeguarding students by adhering to the Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding policies, reporting concerns to the Safeguarding team, and recording information on the EP safeguarding system
5. Supporting pupils to access the curriculum and promoting their progress and achievement
You will regularly report to the class teacher and senior leadership team, monitoring students' progress and recording evidence on the EPs monitoring system. It is vital to report any safeguarding concerns promptly.

Essential requirements before applying:
* Level 2 Literacy/Numeracy or NVQ equivalent
* Basic ICT skills
