Legal Transfer Up Assistant

We are looking for a Legal Transfer Up Assistant to join our team and help manage the transfer of County Court Judgments, Awards, and Orders to the High Court for enforcement. You will be responsible for processing applications, preparing court documents, and ensuring everything runs smoothly for our clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a law graduate looking to start their legal career! Based in our Birmingham office, you will receive full training to issue writs and handle judgment and court enquiries, helping to facilitate High Court enforcement.
What you will be doing:
Processing new case instructions and ensuring accuracy
Preparing and submitting legal documents to the courts
Handling client queries and providing reassurance about the process
Liaising with courts to chase updates and resolve any issues
Keeping accurate records and managing case reviews
Producing reports for clients and management
Occasionally visiting courts, clients, or other offices as needed
What we are looking for:
A degree in law (or relevant legal knowledge)
Strong attention to detail
A team player with excellent communication skills
IT literate (Microsoft Office proficiency is essential)
Organised and able to meet deadlines under pressure
Experience in administration and data entry
Confident handling client calls and queries
