Job Description
We are seeking a highly competent and skilled Product Support Manager EMEA to manage the Product Support Team with the aim of maximizing customer satisfaction regarding products and applications.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a hard science and a minimum of three years' experience in technical sales and/or product support. Proficiency in key optical engineering and physics concepts/optics industry experience is preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and developing the Product Support Team to maximize customer satisfaction, revenue growth, high productivity, and individual accountability
* Scheduling Sales & Applications Engineers to provide adequate phone, email, and chat coverage
* Assisting the Product Support Team with complex technical inquiries and involving Solutions Engineers for technical issues and Regional Sales Managers when significant new opportunities are identified
* Continuously improving sales processes and customers' journeys with Edmund Optics
