We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a kind, warm, capable nanny to join a wonderful family in Notting Hill. This is a really super family who currently employs one of our weekend nannies. Both sides are super happy with one another. Now they are looking for a new Monday to Friday nanny to replace a loving nanny who has been working for them for several years (personal circumstances changed). You will look after the families 3 very sweet daughters, aged between 5yrs and 2yrs. The older 2 children are at school 8.15 til 3pm and the youngest is at nursery from 9am til 2.30pm. All schools are local. They are looking for a new Monday to Friday nanny to join their family, and stay for years. Nanny can either live out, close by, or, the best solution would be if nanny lives in from Monday to Friday and then returns to her own home for the weekends. You are not needed at weekends, but you will be required to travel with them when the family goes on holiday (can be up to a few weeks). The family feels they have been extremely fortunate to have such amazing nannies working with them and really want to find the next very special nanny. The perfect nanny would be someone with a very helpful, muck in and can-do attitude. Who genuinely loves caring and nurturing young children, is interested in setting up fun, creative and interesting activities both indoors outdoors. This is a really lovely, fun, warm and happy family. They live in London and at weekends usually go to their beautiful weekend home in the Hampshire countryside. This is a mix of Shared care and Sole charge; dad works full time, mum is a freelancer and sometimes is out of the house 12 hrs a day and other times is around. Parents are genuinely lovely You will enjoy working together with mum when she is around. It is important to them that nanny is completely comfortable with both sole charge and shared care. The children are usually awake between 7am and 7pm, but a little flexibility (give and take) is required. Occasional babysitting is required, and sometimes if both parents are away you may need to proxy parent. The attractive salary reflects this. The family can also be flexible and offer a later start time, or an earlier finish to on occasion and you have down-time during the mornings when the children are at school and nursery. The family values the importance of play in education and seeks someone who shares this philosophy. If you are passionate about early childhood development and eager to contribute to a nurturing family setting, we invite you to apply to this wonderful opportunity. Occasional travel on holidays might be requested, generally to Sweden, America, France or Switzerland including dressing, bathing, meal prep, playing and activities, and tidying up, occasional children’s laundry if required."
