Job Title: Plumber
Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Queens Medical Centre, Derby Road, Nottingham, NG7 2UH
Pay: Band 5 - £18.66 - £25.07
Shift Pattern: Working 12 hour shifts – 7am – 7pm and 7pm - 7am on a 4 days on, 4 days off then 4 nights on, 4 nights off rota (this will include some weekends & nights)
About the role
NHS Professionals are looking for pro-active and hardworking plumbers to work as part of the Estates and Facilities team at Queens Medical Centre on an ongoing basis.
The role would suit someone who holds a level 2/3 NVQ qualification in plumbing or has a minimum of two years’ experience working in the field.
As a plumber in the NHS, your work includes but is not restricted to:
1. Planned maintenance and inspections
2. Repairing equipment that is broken or faulty
3. Testing equipment and systems
4. Improvements and installations across the trust
You could be working alongside other estates services staff such as electricians, carpenters, and bricklayers.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
* An NVQ Level 2 qualification in plumbing or a minimum of two years’ experience working in the field
* NHS experience is desirable but not essential
* A driving license is required as travel to City Hospital may be required from time to time
* Excellent customer service
* Excellent communication skills
