Monarch Education are working with the Local Authority to recruit several Tutors to teach a group of refugees of mixed ages and abilities. This is a unique position for someone looking to challenge themselves by having root to branch input into planning and delivering a bespoke curriculum to a group of Children and Adults who have been resettled in the UK and do not speak English. We are aiming to provide each adult with 8 hours tutoring each week and 5 hours per week for each child to enable them to independently communicate effectively in day to day life. Pay: £20 - £40 per hour Start: ASAP Length: Circa 6 months Working Week: Ideally 5 x days a week of up to 6 hours tutoring a day Location: Chepstow The successful candidates will ideally have; Experience in working with EAL QTS / TESOL / CELTA Ability to plan a bespoke curriculum for mixed abilities Tutoring experience Experience in working with Adults who have suffered trauma Ability to work in a team with workers from other authorities Independent working Loving and caring nature towards learning This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person(s) and will be a fulfilling assignment.
