At Girlguiding we’re changing our digital approach and how we make a difference to over a third of a million girls and 75 thousand volunteers in the UK. We are proud to be over 110 years old and have constantly been changing throughout our time and we’re now looking at the next steps on this path within our evolving digital strategy.
We’re searching for an inquisitive, analytical, and progressive SEO Manager who will help us maximise the value of our digital portfolio and help drive more engagement using their search techniques and strategy. You will:
* Develop, lead and manage Girlguiding’s SEO strategy across the appropriate digital platforms.
* Engage, manage and inspire users and stakeholders (especially marketing, communications, and digital teams), to identify their needs whilst meeting strategic objectives.
* Be the business SEO subject matter expert, you’ll be the point of contact, and escalation
* Proactively be on top of user behaviour and interaction to make evidence-based decisions from feedback (internally and externally) and insights from data. So being comfortable with analytical tools is key.
* Champion best practices and help show us what great looks like, how we get there and promote this in our organisation
* Care for, coach and develop SEO practice and skillset across the organisation
You’ll need to be resilient, tenacious and comfortable with ambiguity as we work to evolve our digital capability and platforms and have a truly positive approach and growth mindset.

Girlguiding operates a hybrid working arrangement where office based staff are required to attend the office on average two days a week, or 40% of working time across the year. Location allowance is payable to those who work in accordance with out hybrid working model. We’re committed though to supporting our staff to achieve a good work-life balance and offer flexible working options wherever we reasonably can. All staff are required to carry out our online health and safety training and complete a DSE risk assessment to ensure we can provide the support you require.
