About the Role
Our Graham Eyes Butcher Managers enhance our SPAR stores by bringing knowledge, skill and great customer service.
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
As Butcher Manager, you will take on overall responsibility for your team, the quality of the products and the standard of
customer service as well as-
* Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering questions, accepting orders or payments, and offering helpful
advice
* Ordering and managing stock - including stock taking
* Effectively developing and managing a small team
* Ensuring food safety procedures are adhered to within the butchery department
* Maintaining company standards in window display and upright counter display
* Managing staff rotas
* Controlling waste
A Few Things about You
* Managerial or supervisory experience is essential
* To be enthusiastic, committed and self motivated
* Adopts a ‘can do’ attitude to challenging situations
* Have a flexible approach to working hours
* Thorough knowledge of HACCPS
* Proven experience in a butchery environment
