Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Cardiac Radiographer, you will:
* Contribute to the delivery of the Cardiac Catheter service.
* Produce high-quality images across a range of cardiac examinations, supporting services such as cardiovascular angiography, electrophysiology, ECMO, TOE, and other interventional techniques for both adult and paediatric patients.
* Ensure the smooth operation of the Cardiac Catheter lab service.
* Collaborate with senior management.
* Promote education and training.
We are looking for a motivated individual with:
* HCPC registration.
* Experience in cardiac imaging.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and education.

* Understanding of College of Radiographers Code of Practice and requirements of it for practice and behaviour and its application to the management of staff and self.
* Understanding of HCPC Professional standards and requirements of it for practice and behaviour and its application to the management of staff and self.
* Understanding the theory and application of clinical governance.
* Thorough and up to date knowledge of cardiac cath lab imaging and best practice particularly within this specialised area.
* Significant relevant clinical experience in the field of Cardiac angiography.
Qualifications & training
* HCPC Registration.
* BSc (Hons) Radiography/DCR.
