Maintenance Planner
The Maintenance Planner plays a key role in providing short- and medium-term planning and material requirements for aircraft scheduled maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure adherence to all relevant legislative and company procedures to maintain compliance and ensure aircraft remain airworthy.
* Collaborate with Operations Controllers, Technical Records, and the Maintenance Team to ensure a shared understanding of operational capabilities and capacity.
* Enter Technical Log utilization data into the Maintenance system.
* Review aircraft status reports on a weekly basis to ensure maintenance program compliance is maintained.
* Identify provisional maintenance dates for assigned aircraft based on projected utilization, and update the Maintenance Planning calendar with provisional dates.
* Review material requirements in relation to provisional maintenance dates for assigned aircraft, and raise reservations/purchase requisitions for missing materials.
* Generate scheduled maintenance orders for aircraft.
* Ensure work specifications and packages for maintenance inputs are properly prepared to minimize aircraft downtime.
* Confirm material availability for scheduled maintenance events for assigned aircraft.
* Ensure that all planning documentation meets the needs of scheduled maintenance inputs.
* Reset maintenance tasks in the Maintenance Information System (MIS).
* Perform any other reasonable tasks as directed by the AHUK management team to support the MFTS operation.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
* Strong understanding of EASA regulations related to Part M and Part 145 Airworthiness and Maintenance requirements.
* Experience with SAP and ERP software for Technical Records, Planning, and Maintenance purposes.
* High level of computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
Education, Qualifications, and Special Training:
Essential:
* Formal EASA Part 145 and Part M training.
Desirable:
* Academic qualification in an aviation-related field (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, HNC/D).
