The right Maintenance Shift Manager will support the maintenance shift team within a site-based environment while leading a team consisting of a shift leader, skilled maintenance engineers, and maintenance assistants.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the shift team in day-to-day activities
2. Lead while managing customer expectations
3. Ensure that all the site equipment and machinery are maintained, and repaired within the agreed scope
4. Ensuring delivery to always achieve KPI targets
5. Undertake AMHE equipment servicing to the quality standards and time schedules set
6. Compliance with Health & Safety legislation always
7. Always looking for continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
8. Ensure spares are kept to the levels required
9. Ensure the delivery of key staff processes:
1. Team and individual attendance
2. Staff discipline
3. Staff development is identified through appraisal
10. Fully interact with other engineering team leaders to ensure shift consistency while sharing best practices.
Qualifications:
1. ONC, HNC, HND, BSC OR MSC in engineering
2. Understanding of PLC equipment
