About the Role - A new position has arisen within the client services division for an experienced Account Director / Team Leader. The main aim of this role is to assist in the effective management and leadership of the Client Services team, ensuring revenue opportunities are maximised for both clients and the agency. The successful candidate will ensure a high quality, proactive and efficient service is provided by the Client Services team. You must be able to drive a culture of excellence across the organisation, whilst acting as an ambassador that builds a climate of high morale and confidence across the company. The role will combine account management, strategy, team leadership and business development responsibilities. The execution of these tasks ensures the smooth running of the departments, the satisfaction of your clients and aids in achieving organisational objectives and growth. You must perform a senior role, which ensures excellent planning and leadership of the team to achieve financial goals and always abiding by the agency’s mission statement. Responsibilities - Utilise expertise to recommend direct marketing campaigns for acquisition and retention purposes. Effectively lead and collaborate with the Business Development team and Client Services team to drive and convert potential business opportunities. Support and contribute to agency growth via omni channel marketing ideas and solutions. Responsible for the effective management, growth and development of the Client Services team members; providing guidance, training, mentoring and advice to ensure they achieve personal goals and targets. Promote the agency’s vision, values, and strategic objectives, both internally and externally. Have a clear understanding of clients’ objectives and develop creative direct mail and marketing strategies that align with the clients' needs and goals. Act as a key contact within the organisation for account management and industry knowledge (including ISMS, GDPR, Royal Mail, JIC, DMA, and suppliers). Maintaining financial efficiencies, running reports when required and overseeing project allocations. Maintaining company procedures, and when managing client’s assets, adhering to the Data Management Policies as presented in our training documentation. Developing effective working relationships with a wide range of people (both internally and externally). Ensuring compliance with the agency’s policies, procedures and guidelines, together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements. Engaging with the company’s appraisal process, and demonstrate commitment to company values, behaviours and your continuous personal development. Performing other reasonable duties and/or projects as directed by your line manager. Qualifications - Educated to University level in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience). Leadership/Marketing qualification or equivalent experience. Strong communicator in all formats, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels. Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Competent in the execution of creative print and direct mail campaigns. Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record in providing first-class customer care and service delivery within a similar role. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively. Ability to be proactive and effectively lead a team. Have an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work. A ‘can-do’ attitude with a drive to succeed and develop solutions. Significant experience and understanding of omni channel marketing and interaction. Experience of effectively leading and managing a team of people. Experienced in executing a wide remit of strategies – for example marketing, data, PAM, D2D and DM. Provide and present reports by client to the senior team to ensure efficiencies are met and client satisfaction is provided. Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and secure contracts. Pay range and compensation package - Salary purely dependent on skills & experience £40,000 - £50,000. Great benefits.
