Key Responsibilities: - Case Management: Oversee ASB cases, adhering to established processes, procedures, and legal frameworks. Lead investigations, support complainants, and take decisive action to resolve issues. - Hate Crime and Domestic Abuse: Serve as the lead officer for hate crime and domestic abuse cases. Provide essential support to victims, collaborate with other agencies, and ensure comprehensive protection and guidance. - Training and Coaching: Deliver training on ASB legislation and strategies to various stakeholders, including tenancy and estates teams, community groups, and external professionals. - Bespoke Tenant Services: Use discretion to tailor services to individual tenant needs, enhancing overall satisfaction. - Court Representation: Prepare and review witness statements, act as a professional witness, and represent the organisation in court proceedings and evictions. - Collaborative Efforts: Build strong relationships with external partners, such as local policing teams, to effectively tackle ASB and support both victims and perpetrators. Essential Requirements: - Sector Experience: Previous experience in a council or housing association setting is crucial. - Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team of ASB Officers. - ASB Management: At least two years of experience in managing and resolving ASB within a local authority or similar environment. - Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with court processes and relevant legislation related to ASB and tenancy cases.
