Art, Media and Photography Technician - Technical Support 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year £23,630 - £25,656 per annum We are looking for an organised, skilful, and hardworking individual to work as a Technician based in the A level area at our Norwich Campus to provide practical and technical support and supervision for students. Student experience is of the upmost importance, so we are looking for someone with a collaborative and aspirational work ethic who has the skills to provide support in a variety of areas. Textiles and Art - mixing dyes/inks, maintenance of sewing machines and overlockers, knowledge of many techniques such as screen printing and heat transfer. Photography - mixing chemicals, possess a good understanding of film and digital cameras, also needed for A Level Film and Media. The successful candidate will also create risk assessments and COSHH, ensuring high health and safety standards are met so computer skills, especially Microsoft Office software, would be advantageous (training can be provided). You will be line managed by one of our two Technician Team Leaders, who look after Technicians and Technical Supervisors that work across a wide range of curriculum including Land based, Science, Sport and Leisure, Health and Care, Hair and Beauty, Hospitality and Catering, the Arts, Engineering, and Construction. You may be involved in exciting projects on campus, county-wide or nationally, and there will be opportunities for the right candidate to develop their skills.
